Anime…

Recently, due to my PC lack of processing power, a lot of games that I can only see but can’t touch, don’t even mention the word play. LoL… So, to fill up my time, I’ve turn got some anime which are very interesting.

I only choose those anime based on a few criteria.

1. Must be more than 30 episodes. The more the better
2. Must be a finished story, those that is still continue, I won’t touch
3. Must be within certain genre such as comedy, action, sports, fantasy. Not into “girlish” type.

Either one of this does not meet the requirements, I won’t see. So actually that narrows my list of choice. But luckily there are a few that can keep me busy for at least a month.

The most recent anime that I’ve just finished watching is this anime called Eye Shield 21. It’s about a young high school boy who has extraordinary running capability. He was chosen by the school’s American Football team leader and brought him into the team but at the same time, hiding his real life identity by wearing that piece of green eye shield.

The songs are great and the story lines are really intersting and amusing. Few matches are really interesting and very exciting. The good thing about this is, this anime doesn’t like those long series that drag an event up to a few or sometimes up to 10-20 episodes. For a great exciting game will last maximum up to 5 episodes and it will not repeat the earlier story. Overall, this is really a highly recommended anime if you’re one of the anime enthusiasts. Counting Days (Part 2)…

Well it’s another day to go and today is Tuesday. I’ve made up my mind to give a call to the shop to find out what’s the status of my machine and when will it be delivered. Well, to my expectation, it’ll be late 1 more day. Well, since I’ve been waiting for more than 3 days, waiting another day doesn’t really hurt that much. LoL…

Will just keep waiting and keep finger crossed and hope the unit really arrives by Thursday. Any interesting thing to test out when the new machine is here? Well, Loknaldo did mentioned about that long waited RA3, oh yeah! That’s one of the most wanted game list in my list that I’m dying to play since the day I manage to get the game but too bad my current PC doesn’t even goes into the game LoL.

I really can’t wait to see that 22″ LCD screen how does it looks like and how big it will be sitting in front of my face and how will the text looks like on this LCD as I’ve been using CRT monitor for more coming to 10 years. Will it be sharper? I guess we have to wait and see… More pictures (promise) will come in once my new machine is up and running.

 

Counting Days…

The time is ticking and the clock is moving…  “Tick-Tock… Tick-Tock… Tick-Tock”… I’m counting my days… Waiting for my new monster machine to arrive.

And I don’t know why, suddenly my machine being detected with virus. Is it starting to protest? Trying to act up like a lady lost her love from her loved ones? LOL… Well, no matter what, this machine is still staying around and will be replacing my wife’s machine when the new one arrives.

Counting days… Have you ever have these kind of feelings counting days, waiting for some special event to happen eagerly?

 

To Buy… Or Not To Buy…

Remember my last post saying that I’m eyeing on a PC? Well, I went to the PC Fair again yesterday. Part of the reason or the main reason is to help my wife get the printer refill catridge.

So, I left home at about 6.00pm and reach there within 10 minutes (fast heh? Well, quite so cos my place is really that near from KLCC). So, after parking my car, again walking along the long crowded tunnel, I came to the ground floor of the KLCC PC Fair hall and this time, I only realised they have two entrance. One is the original long route that force you to walk the whole KLCC building, all in one direction. And the new one, another entrance, directly into the peripherals section without needing to travel all the way up and goes down again.

Wandering around in the hall, again the same old situation. So my first mission is to get the printer catridge and at the same time, try to hunt for some pricing and hopefully can get some cheap bargain. Getting the catridge is just a snap of fingers.

Second mission, hunting for PC price. This time those that selling PC is getting lesser. I guess people nowadays are tend to go on laptops. Not so much on PC choices. Finally I revisit the booth M*** (sorry, no free publication here) and got their price (again) and some error that I found out on the package which is really misleading. Therefore I decided to skip this and go to another booth and I finally came to this W**** booth and stop there to check out some pricing and asked the sales person some questions about the packages offered.

After some simple information exchanged, I stood there for coming to 30 minutes (all these questions is struggling in my mind… to buy or not to buy… this package or that package… this processor or that processor… should I reduce this and add that… etc, etc, etc…) and I was really struggling whether to get this or not. Finally, without knowing where I get the urge from, I’ve make up my mind to go for it.

So after clearing my payment I headed back home. So now, the process of waiting for the day my new machine to arrived is getting longer and longer and really hope it really arrives by this Wednesday…

How long since the day you last upgrade/buy a new PC?

Second Post… PC Fair

Jingle Bell~Jingle Bell~Jingle All The Way~~!!! The Christmas season is here and so does this PC Fair 09 is here. LOL… I know these are totally two different events but there’s one thing in common… SALE! But is it really that cheap during this PC Fair?

With my current PC which is about 6 or 7 years old and it’s still serving me extremely well, except for most of the recent HIGH REQUIREMENT games that I have totally lost touch with. :’(

But again, everything is just working fine, word processing, graphic design, video encode and decoding, gaming, movies, surfing are all working fine with me. Frankly speaking, I’m very satisfy with this machine and its performance.

PC Fair just started yesterday and I had went to have a look and seems like this time there are actually lesser booth (or did I left out some place???). As usual, sexy promoter, hardware, sexy promoter, software, sexy promoter and of course PC & Laptops (actually seems like this round the sexy promoters are not that much too. LOL…). Fliers are flying everywhere and the chaos of the scene is still the same.

I’m eyeing to get myself a new PC. As usual, being a user, I like to survey around on the pricing and packages offers. But seems like nowadays the trend has moved from desktop to laptops… Laptops promoter and promotions are everywhere and only out of nowhere then you will see a single or two desktop system.

With only a few fliers in hand to bring home to do some comparison, I found that the price is really extremely competitive compare to those days when I bought this “second wife” (or first? Hehe…) of mine. And I still remember that time the sales person who close my deal saying, “This is the best spec I’ve ever sell so far.”

Now, the price are cheap and the technology had actually evolved into a totally stage that I’ve lost track. What are the differences between Intel Core 2 Duo and this Intel Core 2 Quad? What are the differences between NVidia & ATI cards now? Can anyone contribute some ideas what is the ideal configuration for a PC Gamers? And what is your ideal machine if you do not have any budget constrain?

First Post! (sounds like First Blood!)

Finally… Nowadays everyone is talking about blogging, blogging and blogging, just try not to lose myself from this IT world (being an IT student, it’s really a shame), finally i got this up with help from one of my cheeky friend (you know who la, no need me to write or boast about you right?). Just kidding Archie (there i mentioned your name!)… I’ll keep this short. Well try to get more post up here soon… hopefully (finger crossed)…
